  1. Crispest Blade you have used

Really? Hinoki is not a hard wood at all (very soft...), I wouldn't describe it as crispy. Something like an outer carbon koto or maybe rosewood would feel more crispy.
  2. Butterfly Quality Broken blade after 20 hours of play

Do you have the hologram lens on the blade? If yes then you can be sure it is original.
  3. Butterfly Blade Serial No Check

New blades are much easier to identify, they have the holo lens too besides the serial code on the blade and box. I haven't even seen counterfeits trying to copy the holo lens. It was quite unfortunate that he didn't photograph the lens of that ZJ ZLC. There are so many little details on the...
  4. Butterfly Quality Broken blade after 20 hours of play

Bty China has code verification. Dunno why they don't extend it to the whole world.
  5. Butterfly Quality Broken blade after 20 hours of play

That is a real ZJ ZLC, so you shouldn't worry about that. It can also be fixed. I've seen much worse condition blades get fixed. Will it be as good as it was intact? Probably not.
  6. Viscaria Super ALC release!

Thanks, it seems like it's faster than a normal Viscaria just as BTY claims. From your measurements it should be close to a slower Zhang Jike Super ZLC, or Xiom Ice Cream AZX. Probably playwise it is more similar to the Xiom AZX.
  7. Advice on badminton shoes (for table tennis use)

I know what you mean, and it happens unfortunately but if your shoe has good grip always you can get used to this. Of course you make a bad step and you're screwed, this is what causes injuries for pro players. Of course you can get used to the sliding but sometimes slippery shoes can find a...
  8. Advice on badminton shoes (for table tennis use)

Cheers, it sounds really promising. There are several Stiga shoes, the Liners are basically a Mizuno Wave drive with a different upper design. The other Stigas I'm not even sure of. I've seen a few floating about but they don't inspire much confidence. Yeah, the Aerus Z seems much better...
  9. Advice on badminton shoes (for table tennis use)

Gliding is really bad in sports that are not about specially gliding like ice skating. How can you position your body if your feet glide in an angle or you don't desire? You can't even begin to move in any direction since you're just sliding.
  10. Advice on badminton shoes (for table tennis use)

How is the grip of the Ranger compared to the others on wood floor or just in general? Lining.eu is a cool site, but right now they don't have my sizing basically from anything... Badmania looks like a good site too. The Aerus 3 is also a possibility, it's going for about the same price as...
  11. Advice on badminton shoes (for table tennis use)

Just quickly to give some background info about my previous shoes so you can probably help me better. I now use a Mizuno Wave Medal 6, which I got for 55EUR on a bargain. I like that it has good support, the sole grip is not bad, wish it was better on wood floor (especially on worn wood floor)...
  12. Table Tennis Tips: A better feeling with the ball

Well I only encountered with only a handful different glues. Most are the same just rebranded. There are the German made glues like the BTY Freechack 1, and almost every brand has something like that in their offering. From the shown glues the Gewo Hydrotec is also one of them, but also Andro...
  13. Do you really want to learn something?

To me the 20m/s sounds about right, but 75rps...? Is that with pips??? Butterfly just did some videos, 20m/s and 120-150rps doesn't seem like a big deal.
  14. Is it necessary to glue the blade and rubber?

Bit difficult to justify if the glue on the sponge splinters the blade. It's more likely the glue you put on the blade does it since that's the glue that has direct contact with the wood. Limba can be troublesome unfortunately.
  15. Supplements to stay healthy and improve your game

Hello Everyone! I'm just wondering what kind of supplements you are taking to: first and foremost to stay healthy, avoid injuries and perform better. These are all important to keep playing at a high level for many years and since table tennis can and should be played even at a quite senior age...
  16. What is the spinniest ESN hybrid rubber for Joola Flash ball? (seamless ball)

Yep, good call I kinda forgot about the TAU 2, but as mentioned not easy to get in EU. I tink it's also like the K2 and Bluegrip V1, dense sponge with a sticky T05 type topsheet. These rubbers are on specs interchangable. For sure opening loops are not the same, I myself really liked the K2 on...
  17. What is the spinniest ESN hybrid rubber for Joola Flash ball? (seamless ball)

Yes, I also think medium hard sponge and topsheet combo would be the best for the Flash ball. D09c was quite good, but it's hard work to use it well with the Flash ball. I prefer the H8-80 more, probably becuase it is a bit softer and more technically versatile rubber. Well I like finishing...
  18. What is the spinniest ESN hybrid rubber for Joola Flash ball? (seamless ball)

Probably the normal Rakza Z would be fine, but people who tried both vouch more for the extra hard so I would probably get that from the two. The only problem with it is the mass. ~54g is no joke for a sheet. But I'm glad it works well with the Flash ball. Yes, the TDE is an interesting rubber...
  19. What is the spinniest ESN hybrid rubber for Joola Flash ball? (seamless ball)

I don't have too much experience with ESN hybrid rubbers, only ever used Tibhar K2 extensively and while it's a pretty good rubber I always felt the topsheet is weak on it and doesn't generate much spin. However it did very well on shots where I tried to maximize impact. I'm wondering what is...
