  1. Need a new backhand rubber

Everytime I buy a new rubber, I try it before I buy it. In the shop I go, there is a trying section where you can try the feeling of rubbers. I think people have different preference so I suggest touching them and playing with them before you buy one. Although recently I changed my mind and...
  2. Hurricane 3 Provincial Blue Sponge

Honestly, H3 provincial is quite slow without boosting and there are not many difference between H3Neo and H3P in terms of spin or control. It is just speed and how bouncy it gets in my opinion. I feel it gets 30 % more bouncier after boosting. I dont know abou H8, heard it is fast but not very...
  3. Hurricane 3 Provincial Blue Sponge

I think people have preference on rubber maintenances. I do nothing. Absolutely nothing. I just use my breath to clean dusts. I think most people do this, what do you do?
  4. Hurricane 3 Provincial Blue Sponge

I understand what you are saying. Basic skills are definitely important than equipments. But you know, booster only costed me 3 bucks and what I really do with booster is to just enjoy table tennis :)

  7. Hurricane 3 Provincial Blue Sponge

Yeah I wonder why too. There are still much mystery in DHS distributing system. I think they sell normal DHS rubbers like H3, H3 NEO extra... I myself never seen this blue sponge rubber sold straight from DHS outside of China.

It costed me 290 cny so around 50 usd.
  9. Hurricane 3 Provincial Blue Sponge

  10. Hurricane 3 Provincial Blue Sponge

I went to Shanghai last year and got myself new rubber. H3 Provincial Blue Sponge. The rubber is definitely not a fake one since I got it in DHS store. Below is link to TTD equipment review forum. http://www.tabletennisdaily.co.uk/equipment/rubbers/10676-hurricane-3-provincial I would like to...
  11. Hurricane 3 (Provincial)

5 out of 5 rating for Hurricane 3 (Provincial) Heavy but Powerful. Within the current tacky rubber choice, I would say this is the best rubber I've ever played with. I got it in table tennis equipment shop in Shanghai, costed me 350 rmb (around 50 usd). The shop sells product which is straight...
  12. Why do you boost?

The main reason I boost is because Hurricane series tend to be slow without boosting it. I am a equipment maniac so I would say that play a bit part in my boosting option but overall, its amazingly fast when boosted. In my opinion H3N is one of the most tricky rubber to handle. Its sticky, slow...

  15. Help With NCTTA Regionals

mcgill. That sounds very tough... I am pretty sure that your team's #1 can beat most of my school's team member but I honestly cannot believe that happened. And yes, I hope some school is going to rise up too!
  16. Help With NCTTA Regionals

Our school goes to NCTTA regional in Toronto too. Those players from McMaster are quite decent. I heard our team captain, who is former Canadian national team member, was easily defeated by them. Their tactics are very good. My advice is to avoid cheap miss, like serving, receiving and be little...
  17. Europe Top 16 - 2016

It's very satisfying for me to see Samsonov playing very aggressive against Ma Long in German Open. I love his usual playstyle, which he choose not to take too much risk on shots. He is also very fair-play-oriented guy as you can see that in his serves. However, in this German Open, he chose to...
  18. I am confused on my fh choise???

I think you do not like Boost TC because it is slightly difficult to loop with, and I agree, T series are gone way too far in price. My recommendation is Mark-V. It is quite balanced rubber when combined with wood blade. It is not super fast, but very stable and surprisingly easy to loop with...
  19. Yasaka Rising Dragon vs Chinese tacky rubbers

I have played with Rising Dragon once. The rubber is not very tacky, meaning that it much more felt as tensors rubber like Mark-V. Yes, it says hybrid on description but it is simply a combination of tensors with slight tackiness. Therefore, you have less spinny serves than those super-tacky...
