  1. Best tensor rubber's so far

Best Tensors I love Tenergy, however, I play Donic Bluestorm Z1 and just started using Xiom's Omega VII's which I am really enjoying and pair it with Nittaku's Acoustic Carbon Inner (large handle) or the Donic Ovtcharov True Carbon. Personally, I favor using the Bluestorm with a harder blade...
  2. Bluestorm Z1

5 out of 5 rating for Bluestorm Z1 After many months of playing with Stiga's Pro Carbon paddle in the beginning of my TT career, I had out grown the pre-made paddle stage. I did a ton of research and decided on a nice carbon blade w/ Donic Bluefire M1 rubbers. They were fantastic! After...
  3. Bluestorm Z1

Review by 'Van2112' on item 'Bluestorm Z1'

After many months of playing with Stiga's Pro Carbon paddle in the beginning of my TT career, I had out grown the pre-made paddle stage. I did a ton of research and decided on a nice carbon blade w/ Donic Bluefire M1 rubbers. They were fantastic! After adjusting to the M1's, I was ready for...
  4. A Better Rubber for Spin+Speed?

Nittaku Fastarc G-1, Butterfly Tenergy 05, or DHS Hurricane 3 National orange or blue sponge are all decent options for a grippier rubber than M1. Yasaka Shining Dragon and Andro Rasant Grip are rubbers that have a surface for spin as well but I haven't tried them, yet. Lastly, I have a blade...
  5. Carbon blades & Medium - Hard rubbers

All of that makes a great deal of sense. I believe that I interpreted the meaning of numbness literally when using a harder blade. In my case, the accident must be the culprit and it just so happened that I had changed blades and rubbers. I have only been playing for 9 months. I was too busy...
  6. Carbon blades & Medium - Hard rubbers

I recently switched from playing with the Donic Waldner Ultra Carbon to using the Ovtcharov True Carbon. While I am aware that it's not the hardest carbon on the market, I had never experienced hand or finger numbness before. That being said, I hit approx. 500-700 balls per weekday night and...
  7. How to improve?

Yeah, I can hardly see anything that you fellas are doing. It's awesome that you guys are humble enough to ask for pointers though. Rock on!
  8. Win a Cornilleau Hinotec OFF Blade signed by Can Akkuzu!

11-9 Can. Looked like Dan was holding his own.
  9. New Tenergy Rubbers! Tenergy 05N and Tenergy 09C

Lux Interior! The Cramps were a great band. Haven't used a Stiga rubber but, from what I've read, I'm not missing much.
  10. Tactics to beat a much stronger player

I agree, Baal. That is a concept of playing the game that I am just now adhering to. If they serve and return in the style that suits my playing where I have an easier time being aggressive, then I'll rock it almost everytime, however, there are players who's lack of speed throw my timing off...

  13. I introduce myself

Welcome! TTD is such an awesome site. Enjoy!!
  14. Donic Ovtcharov True Carbon

I just bought the True Carbon and put Bluefire M1's on FH & BH. After practicing with it today, I began to notice a numb feeling in my hand/fingers. I had an accident yesterday and jammed all of my fingers in that hand so I am sure that doesn't help. Just curious though, is there anybody else...
  15. New DHS 40+ Ball - TTNPP (Is it fake or is it real?)

It pains me that the ITTF changed the regs to plastic balls. They are okay but, there are clearly so many issues with roundness, etc. TTNPP's deal is awesome though. Gotta get some while the price is right. I hate that plastic balls are so expensive.
  16. Customized my Viscaria

"Pistol Grip" is quite a clever name for your mod. I don't use flared handles anymore but was considering purchasing a Donic Dotec blade that is relatively similar in shape.
  17. Rozena vs Mantra

Donic Bluefire rubbers are the best rubbers that I have owned/used for spin. I own the M2's (red & black) and just bought the M1's. Have steered clear of Stiga rubbers but would encourage anyone to pick up a set of Bluefire or Tibhar Evolution rubbers.
  18. Improve your game doing yourself!

At the moment I am only able to practice with a robot (iPong V300), however, in the near future I will purchase the Newgy 2050 and be able to nearly replicate this multiball exercise.
  19. Best Rubbers for Ovtcharov True Carbon

I am currently using Donic M1's on both sides, however, I am going to experiment with the MX-P, EL-P, and finally, the M2's. Will post again after I find out more information.
  20. Bluefire M2

5 out of 5 rating for Bluefire M2 I love the Donic Bluefire M2! It is a fantastic, controllable, fast, spinny rubber. Currently, I am playing it on both my forehand and my backhand. I played it non-boosted (right out of the package) and when I saw how easy it is to control, I boosted it for...
