  1. What's the worst blade you've ever used?

Stiga cc7, ebony7, rosewood 7. Stiff and hard as hell. I never understood Stiga’s love for harder woods treated with hard coatings etc.
  2. Dignics needs break-in?

I do believe it will feel better after more hours. It happens with most rubbers, some more, some less signficant. We can call it break in or adaptation of the player. My Glayzer plays faster, spinnier and more lively after couple of weeks. With Tenergy this was almost non existant. Since Dignics...
  3. Dignics needs break-in?

It’s my first experience with the Dignics series, coming from years of playing with Tenergy, Evolution series. It really is significantly different. Probably more demanding but maybe rewards more. Dwell feels less.
  4. Dignics needs break-in?

I am aware of that, it is an easier rubber in many ways. But feelingdead /dull is different. I have experinced very hard rubbers and how/when they engage the sponge. Maybe the glue job is not good, that I can look into.
  5. Dignics needs break-in?

    Express break-in 🙂
  6. Dignics needs break-in?

Glayzer feels more spin oriented, better topsheet, more dwell but maybe lacks just a bit of speed when getting away from the table compared to Rozena. But it’s a better rubber imho. Glayzer is very consistent. Neither is very fast. Interesting, I played it it on an Innerforce Alc. will give a...
  7. Dignics needs break-in?

    As a last resort maybe🙂
  8. Dignics needs break-in?

Btw, I had a 5 year break from table tennis, I restarted a few months ago with rozena and glayzer just to get in shape. Before the break I had T05+EL-S.
  9. Dignics needs break-in?

I just glued a dignics 05 on my forehand. After the first session, I see that it is slower and less lively than my Glayzer(20+ sessions). Glayzer was also a bit duller when I started playing with it, but T05 was always ready to play even when fresh out of the package. Does Dignics need some time...
  10. Need help deciding if i should get a Xiom Hugo HAL

Agree, too much of a change. I do have a HAL and had a TBZLC many years ago. HAL will be flexier, slower, softer. HAL is like a very good, stable and high quality 5 ply wood blade.
  11. Equipment you want Dan and Tom to review?

    Lebrun brothers’ blades😀
  12. Tibhar Stratus Power Wood upgrade

Innerforce ALC, Korbel SK7 or similar soft, low vibration inner carbon or 7 ply blades fit the bill. I think both are a bit faster and relatively similiar to control.
  13. Glayzer

Review by 'speaquinox' on item 'Glayzer'

It’s a medium hard rubber which feels mostly medium when playing. Topsheet grip is very nice, so is serves and short game. Not so bouncy. Blocking is very controlled. Faster than Glayzer 09c which is slow for most. Very easy and consistent to loop but sometimes makes you feel it lacks the...
  14. Rozena

Review by 'speaquinox' on item 'Rozena'

Rozena is a medium-fast rubber with above average rating for all other attributes. Kind of a do-it-all rubber (not a defensive rubber). Hits, serves, blocks, short game, loops all can be done with great ease. But none can be done top-grade. Hardness is "medium". Speed-glue effect is less...
  15. Anyone have a sneak peak of Glayzer yet?

I think regular Glayzer and G-1 are more comparable amd can be used for similiar playing styles. Very close catapult, hardness and maybe spin. 09c seems more of an outsider to me. Even less catapult and I didnt feel it has significantly more spin. Maybe it’s about my looping technique.
