  1. What blade Darko Jorgic playing at Europe top 16 cup.

I'm by no means an expert but here is my five cents: I think tennis is different in some ways. It is generally known what the greats in tennis has been playing with (includin Federers frame change ten years back) and the actual, or at least similar, things are sold to customers (The Wilson Pro...
  2. What is the spinniest ESN hybrid rubber for Joola Flash ball? (seamless ball)

I played K3 for around 6 months. Compared to Rakza Z it’s faster with lower throw and much lighter than Rakza Z (not to mention Rakza Z extra hard). Speed is similar to D09C I would say but the throw and spin is lower. My problem with K3 is durability. For me, playing 4-5 hours per week (at...
  3. Tibhar Hybrid K3 vs Rakza Z

Having used Raka Z, Rakza Z EH and K3 I would say I agree that Rakza Z has higher throw than K3. K3 is much faster and more direct. Drawbacks are weight for Rakza Z and especially Rakza Z EH. K3 is great but has a really short lifespan.
  4. SDC Handmade Blades

My comment was aiming at my knee-jerk reaction of wanting to get another of Sergios creations… I wouldn’t be that worried on the Hinoki
  5. SDC Handmade Blades

    Oh no!
  6. SDC Handmade Blades

Hybrids for me. Has been playing RakzaZ BH and K3 FH but will go for D09C shortly
  7. SDC Handmade Blades

Yes, definately similarities! You also get that soft yet stable feel I guess. The handle if Afzelia if i recall correctly. The way I see it I’m not hoarding but compensating for lack of playing time😂
  8. SDC Handmade Blades

This is blade eight and nine that I’ve bought from Sérgio. Both of the blades play very, very nicely but the 3+2 is my favourite and the blade I play regurarly. The 3+2 blade has a soft Hinoki feeling but packs a punch! I can really not get around why there isn’t more Hinoki/ALC blades out...
  9. Head size and form of the blade?

I have had similar issues. To me, the handle, wings and lower part of the blade face is important for me to get a functional grip. I have ordered from Hipnotic several times. Firstly with focus on a larger handle but thereafter with attention given to the wings and lower part of the blade face...
  10. Darker Hinoki 5p-2a

Jup, 100 length or thereabout. The handle feels thicker than comparably shaped Butterfly handles (the round straight ones). I have large hands by swedish standards and can still play comfortably with the handle. To me changing from flared to straight made it much easier to find suitable blades...
  11. Darker Hinoki 5p-2a

I have been playing with a Neottec Amagi off (the carbon variant) for a couple of months. I’m playing with a straight handle, so I guess it’s not that helpful, but that handle is ok for me (28x23 or so) and I do prefer large handles. Quality is better than what the price suggests!
  12. Cure for the EJ

Mog! Sincerly, I’ve missed you! Please keep us posted on your journey towards finding your way/equipment/cure. I for one relate and honestly love to follow you in the quest of improvement.
  13. O9C Durability

I agree. Rakza Z plays slower than D09C and feels softer and less powerful - a perfect BH rubber. Rakza Z EH packs more punch. My only problem is that it weighs a ton!
  14. SDC Handmade Blades

I am the lucky customer in question. Here is a short review of the blades.About me: I played extensively but not organised table tennis during my youth (as is/was common in sweden) but found my way to regular practice and local league (korpen) when my knees no longer accepted fotball three...
  15. SDC Handmade Blades

I’m the lucky owner of the blade in question. It’s my second time ordering from Sérgio and I’m seeing a risk of this becoming a habit :) A brief review of the blade and the process before ordering follows: After playing with ALC-blades for some time (roughly 18 months) I decided to go all-wood...
  16. Victas Triple Double Extra & Triple Extra Rubbers

So... I’ve been playing with D09C FH and RZ BH for 9-10 months. Decided to boost a while back on rather fresh sheets (2 months old) with 2 quite generous layers of Falco. For me at least it has been very positive. The rubbers are a bit more bouncy which can be felt when playing short but mainly...
  17. Who here plays with griptape on the blade handle?

I used to use grip tape but didn’t like the feel. Ordered a custom blade with considerably oversized handle instead. Well worth it if your hands are on the larger side
  18. Question for Blade-Builders

This was really interesting. In march I got a custom blade built by Hipnotic with a large SQST handle (112x31x27). The blade is magnificient and plays really well. The main reason for me ordering the blade was to get a more beefy handle for my above average sized hands. My grip is definately...
  19. How does table tennis in non usa works?

To this can be added local series trough "Korpen" (a Swedish association for less serious form of practicing/competing in sports). In Stockholm that adds 11 divisions for teams of two and 2 divisions for teams of three.
  20. Banda/Stiga blades

Stiga has (partially) been owned by the founder of Banda for a long time. Stiga, owned by Banda, starting production of ”Banda by Stiga” is a bit weird
