It proved that only the top 4 of CNT are beyond the rest of world's best players. All the fifth man like Yan An, Zhou Yu, Fang Bo and Liang Jingkun are kind of close to the rest of world. Because they are familiar with the top 4, they may have good chance winning the top 4 in domestic tournaments.
Similarly, another former CNT A team player Li Ping haven't done so well in World tour since he joined Qutar. He was even unable to past the preliminary rounds.

Holy! Zhang Jike and Ma Long have are out of the doubles losing to Jung Youngsik & Kim Minseok!

Yeah, she is doing a great tournament. But, she didn't beat Miu Hirano but Hina Hayata in the U21 final. She beat Doo Hoi Kem in semi though.
Once thing I don't understand is why Hayata has so few opportunities ? She is good, has the same age than Mima Ito and Miu Hiarano, she beat them in this tournament and before but it's the only tournament she participated this year (including Junior and Cadet Opens) and she won't be in others tournaments later this year (so far). For example, she will be the only japanese women player who participated here and who won't be in the next Spanish Open while Ito and Hirano have so much more opportunities and will participate in WTTC 2015.
Oh yeah sorry! I didn't read well and I thought you were talking about the U21 event.
Besides that, Petrissa Solja beat Zhang Qiang this morning and she will play Kasumi Ishikawa later. It will be a really tough match.
Where has Shiono been? I haven't seen him in competition for quite a while. Looks like he is in good form.
