My primary setup is the ZJK ALC that I loop and rpb with quite comfortably.

My experimentation setup is this Yasaka YEO7P. It's heavier than the ALC and helps me get into better form.

Before hand I was using a dhs premade, surprisingly actually a decent off- setup. It's my first ever racket with a real backhand rubber, but I didn't even peal off the protective film on the back initially because I never use that side. However, the Wang Hao logo on the butt of the handle eventually converted me from long time tph to rpb. In a way, this inexpensive racket elevated my game more so than anything else.

Most interestingly though, I used to play with an one-ply hinoki round-headed jpen, BTY Senkoh 6500, still glued with its original sriver rubber!

I moved from Stiga to Victas and until the recent stay-home policy I have been playing on a Victas ZX-Gear In.

This is a very nice blade with attention to detail. Weight is 86g.

Nice. Looks like a Limba top ply and how does it feel on short play as compared to when you are looping. Does it feel like it has gears: control on short, you put a little more power in and a lot more power comes out?

Hi Carl. Yes, it does feel like a classic 5-ply wood blade when playing at a lighter pace. And when I swing harder I get a little higher gear. It’s not a really fast blade, but the feel is quite nice and took very little adaptation coming from an allwood blade. Nicely sanded wings from the factory, and it’s apparently pre-sealed — super smooth blade face. Vibrations are well controlled. Nicely balanced blade.

That's my lady, she's a keeper. Crispy 7ply that has good dwell time. I would expect stiff 7ply to not have such a good dwell time, but the ball stays plenty long on the bat. The Gambler rubber is dead though, it started squicking :( It was great rubber when it lived though.

There is a review on YouTube for this Victas ZX-Gear In blade. The review is in German, so I was only able to watch the testing. Speed looks like medium and throw is somewhat high. Nice sound on topspins.

Oi. I don't think I've posted here since 2015 when I was playing with hurricane hao III c-pen. Then later Treiber z - Fi - this.
Xvt Zlc Hinoki. (Amultart clone, however probs a bit slower and more control) Pros and cons of all the changes tbh. Slightly weaker (or slower) on third ball killers than the treiber z (which could become an issue in the far distant future when I reach world Tour, puns intended). Not a counter hitter like hao iii either. But my loops and openings have quite a noticeable increase in spin and control, breaking pace has never been easier, and overall I think it suits my playstyle the most.

As a side note, I choose the lightweight and slower Bh rubber (red) due to blade weight and my 'less developed bh'. Might get swapped some day, but it's a fun all+ off- ish rubber, with great control on just about anything, even moderately suitable for chopping :>

I got a Dianchi D 39 as well. I try it soon.
Did you glued them without boosting first? Did you boost it after the boosting effect disappeares?
