Though not quiet happy with my current rubber combo. Jp-01 was more suited for fh, and I liked jp-01 a bit more than M1.. so will be swapping in near future :v
EDIT: I've decided to check Adidas Tenzone Ultra and Adidas P7.
So here goes a few new pictures <:

Strange how one reads and reads and reads up on rubber-reviews, stats, comments etc, orders what you think is goint to be a great bh rubber, just to fint it's a great fh rubber.. Know tha feeling! Good looking setup.

My main combi,

Blade Butterfly Defense Alpha

FH Red
Dhs Hurricane 3 Control Version 2.0 mm
Butterfly Tackiness Chop 1.7 mm

BH Black
Butterfly Tackiness Chop 1.1 mm
729 Dr Evil + Kokutaku Tulpe 0.6 mm

Still looking for rather low cost alternative of tack 2, mine since 2006, preferably in 1.3 - 1.7 mm, but finding H3 in that sponge is neigh impossible....

Furthermore, looking for damp sponge to replace my Tulpe, in 0.4 - 1.2 mm, Tulpe too fast for my play style. :)

Interesting that I see a couple of people have fixed their rubbers so that they don't cover the blade all the way down to the handle...is this done to cut down on the weight of the racket by reducing the weight of the rubber that's attached?

Mine should have been half a cm further down preferably, but yeah. It's because penhold :L
It gives a better/more solid feel/touch to have your thumb and index finger touch the blade rather than the rubber.
Though indeed it allso gives a slightly lighter weight yes.
When I started out I had a pre-made with shakehand handle, then after that I bought a penhold racket, but assembled it all the way down. It's first after that I actually noticed the pro's did this and then decided to do it mysef on next assemble (which is quiet a while ago)
But yes, I found this to be much more comfortable.

Well I'd love to share some pictures of my racket(s) but despite considerable work to get the file sizes down below the apparent maximum permitted size of 97 Kb, every time I try to upload the files I get "Upload of file failed." What the actual %&*@ ????

Try another imageservice. Ive used tinypic.com before.

Good luck!

Thanks Liten - only thing is the photos are on my computer and I'm using (or trying to use) the facility to upload them directly. Yes I could put them on a site like FlickR and link to them instead, but is it REALLY necessary to go around the houses like that ? Not sure that's what Dan et. al. intended !
