Yep. Nittaku got quite a boost on their Acoustic sales when he was using that blade.
I kinda in shock. From the time I've been on this site, no one really mentioned it. Also what rubbers did use back then? Seems odd to me but also maybe it's just me.

You do have to remember that was back in the speed glue days. The equipment was different back then and there was no Tenergy yet. Those are photos of him gluing up and boosting and he was not afraid to show how his H3 had domed up. :) Rubbers that worked well with Speed Glue did not always work well without it. And blades that were good with speed glue may not be fast enough without the speed glue.

The red rubber says Nittaku Narucross EX.

By the way, when you compare the Chinese characters for the Skyline rubbers with the characters for the Hurricane rubbers you can tell when he is using H3 and TG3 (Skyline 3).

Hello, I think for BH at first he use Nittaku JO SC (some people mentioned he also use Nittaku Refoma), then Nittaku Narucross EX, and recently use T05/64/DHS H3.

Yeah, I only was talking about the backhand rubber he was using on the Acoustic but I only mentioned one.

Nice topic! Ma Long is my fav player, impressive to see how many blades he has used. Some pros stick to the same set up for years and years.

I see. For sure his forehand back then must have been Hurricane 3 with speed glue? Could have been the Hurricane 3 Nittaku version? I use to use this as I got Darius Knights old ones. it was amazing!! From the picture it looks like this rubber.

Did the Nittaku versions say Nittaku anywhere on them?

It has the word Nittaku on it. I found it very different than commercial H3. Very low throw and dead. it definitely need heavy boosting.

I remember seeing Wang Liqin and Ma Long featured in old Nittaku catalog. Not sure if they are officially sponsored Nittaku players or not but I think DHS are closely related to Nittaku since the old time.

BTW the W968 with T05 BH belongs to Fang Bo.

I think it did yes. I think Nittaku buy a certain amount from DHS per year or something. But not so sure. @TurboZ has posted a good picture there. Perhaps Nittaku sponsored some CNT players in this era?
