I really like this event. Will there be live streaming? Asia are looking very strong! They will use that table? I am looking forward to seeing that in action!, its very different to the norm!

Despite the strange and unique looks of the table, it should work fine.
"Jointly designed by DHS and Chinese TTA and tested by professional TT players in Shanghai , the new table has a transparent platform with an electronic screen below , it can be used for sports presentation. Also, the table could meet the standards of friction and bounce established by the ITTF.

The new table will be beneficial to the promotion of 2015 Asia-Europe event." -ATTU

Wow that is so cool! Very innovative! Great for TT!

I have seen this table on my weibo account, the table can display images like a TV. This table can be used professionally and or at a parties/bar for entertainment purposes. But the price for this setup would be high i imagine. I hope more modern innovation continues. This is a good move ITTF.

For TV viewers and maybe audience that scoring table is maybe not bad thing, but for players it must be bad. If I see "different table surface" after every point this won't be a thing on I would like to play.

I believe this stuff will never work on top tournaments where max level of concentration is needed.
