How important is it that I sealed my Infinity VPS blade?

Hello everyone

I bought the Infinity VPS from Stiga about a year ago and now i want to change my rubbers.
However, i have read that you were supposed to seal the blade before hand, which i didn't know ...

Can anyone confirm that changing my rubber(unsealed) will break the top layer of the wood?
My racket is still working fine so i don't know whether i should change it or not

Thanks for your responses !

See if you can search for and read what "diamond touch technology" is. I believe that blade has a process done to the top ply to harden it and it is rather an actual sealing or some method of hardening the outer ply.

Even if that wasn't the case, if you take the rubbers off very carefully, you can do it without damaging the top ply.

Look for Litten's threads and see how, with several old blades, and OLD rubbers, he has still managed to take the rubber off. And it is much harder with rubbers that are decades old.
