The drumstick stretch is the main thing the Theraband flexbar tries to simulate, though it does so with some muscle development as well.

Then that is probably ideal. Do you have a link to what that does? I would like to see it.

There are many videos on the Tyler Twist with Theraband Flexbar on youtube, but this is just one:

This should be good stuff too. And even though the same muscles are involved something different happens when both arms are doing the same thing like with the drumsticks. In the end both would be better than either alone.

It started reveal itself again after 3-4 training sessions.
I think mostly forehands are the troublemakers, I have noticed though that the ball picking up plays a role.

That Info helps. I will give more info later.

More info:

Do these stretches after you play and after you wake up. It should take about 5 min.

Try those in that order. After you play. Then in the morning and then let me know if any of any of them bother your back and if any of hem feel like they help it more than the others.

OOPS is right Mister. You edited the post alright, but not before the NSA had REALLY seen the secrets you spilled in your drunken stupor. (Allright, I have NEVER seen Carl drunk, or even drinking ANY alcohol, but the drunken stupor thing had a ring to it and it is a good excuse)

Ha! I deleted it so nobody will know what you are talking about. Hehe.

You can't prove that I did a double post and deleted the evidence, first by editing "Oops" in its place and then by deleting it properly. You can't prove nothin'. Nor can you prove the drunken stupor part. Besides it was antihistamines or some such that got my head all foggy. I'll blame the pharmaceutical industry. Maybe that will divert William's attention. Don't let him know about my plan to distract him though.

How does MX-P compare to tibhar genius sound?
I just got a 2nd hand virtuoso and played some matches with an old sheet op genius sound.
Weight was good, control was good, spin was good. Allthough my game was good, it felt too soft at times. Probably due to the thinner, softer, flexier blade + soft rubber.

My game is pretty allround offensive.

thanks

ANY rubber that has SOUND as part of the name is very SOFT. MX-P is a decently mid firm rubber/sponge. Difference will be very stark. I would advise Aurus Soft or or FX-P for someone liking Tibhar rubbers and liking control and spin of a somewhat softer rubber/sponge.

Carl thanks a lot for the stretches you showed me above, they did solve my lower back problems 100 %. Now I can play for 2-3 hours and have no problems with my lower back at all. They do take me 15 minutes the least though, but that's no problem for the benefits they give!! :)

That is awesome. I am glad that you were able to do the things that would make them better. Good job. Most people wouldn't have had the discipline to keep doing it consistently. Glad I was able to help you figure out how to take care of it.

I'm currently using Tibhar's blade Samsonov Force Pro Black Edition and it greatly matches (previous Vladi's setup) with MX-P. I really love it. Moreover, the handle is quite massive and it makes the bat well balanced with heavy MX-P on FH.
Reading Carl's posts, I'm starting to look around for some OSP blades

Carl, have you tried MX-P on FPBE?

I'm trying to like posts (I'm new on TTD) but can't find the Like button! Could you help me??

I have not tried that Samsonov Force Pro blade. Glad it works for you. If you have a good blade, that is all you really need.

You need to have more than a certain number of posts before the like button appears. I think the number is actually 5 posts. So, after your fifth or sixth post, it should appear. If you look at that yellow triangle in the bottom of any post including the screen shot you took, the like button would be right to the right of that yellow triangle at the bottom left hand corner of the posts.

It is always interesting how a blade or blade and rubber combination can feel abs work really well for one person and not at all for another.

For me, I am totally, 100% happy with my blades. I have every blade I want. And a few more too. For me, I am done searching for now.

My V+ and my Kim Jung Hoon are perfect. My Peter Pan and my V- are also perfect. And my TB ZLF is also pretty perfect. Add to that list a Clipper, an Allround Evolution, an Oscar, Acrasia, Inca and a whole host of others.

I could use any of them. But I am enjoying my Virtuoso Plus and my Kim Jung Hoon blades.

And, yes, that like button should appear soon.
