Short pips present a problem as they need the angle to be spot on, the RPB is naturally closed and more suitable for inverted. I think that if you do not want to occasionally chop away from the table nor twiddle, medium pips would be the best solution for pure attacking. But long pips can give the biggest contrast and disturbing effect.
