Thanks....
I never get hand onto Hinoki or kiri... But it will be nice to have experience.... Unfortunately im unable to get hand on some of this wood types here in slovakia.
But if you have some good source which can ship in few pieces of wood veneers to slovakia... I can definitely try it.

I believe we can't get hinoki even from Japan trusted wood seller (if they even offer shipping overseas), since they also import Port Oxford Cedar to replace hinoki. BUT, although hinoki stands as king of conifer woods, doesn't mean that there's no replacement for it. The best replacement for hinoki cypress is of course port oxford cedar. You can get it here http://tonewood.com/guitar-wood/aco...s/port-orford-cedar-flat-top-soundboards.html and http://www.lmii.com/products/mostly-wood/tops-tonewood/port-orford-cedar. Though they aren't cheap. They also not thick enough to be made into 1-ply wood, but you can use them as core or mid or top ply.

As for me, I usually pick Sitka Spruce as my number one hinoki replacement. I also used Redwood and Western Red Cedar before. All are good hinoki replacements (for core and ply), produce similar feeling as hinoki when hitting with the blade, but not quite the same blade though.

Overall, in my own opinion, I honestly think that conifer wood will serve much better as blade's core since they all give better feedback feeling when hitting the ball than balsa or abachi. Basswood also give good feedback feeling, but lack power far from the table. Also I usually buy them from luthier supplier, so the wood already graded into instrument standart wood.

For kiri wood, you can get them by buying "paulownia wood". The lowest standart is for martial arts show, like this one http://www.amazon.com/Paulownia-Wood-Breakable-Board-Pack/dp/B00ACVQZRO. And the highest standart is for surfboard like this one http://wood-alaia-surf.paulownia.ws/. I never tried it though.

May i ask what weave is the carbon? twill or plain? I like to craft stuff as well and am currently acquiring knowledge to creat my 1st blade for fun. And is there a difference between carbon fibre sheets and carbon fibre cloth?
Hmmmm to be honest i do not now what is difference betwen sheets and fabric ...
im mostly using 160g/m2 fabric with keper bond because it has best stiffness to weight ratio...
but when it goes more about the weight i`m using 100g/m2 fabric with basic cross pattern bond.
here is link to the 160g/m2 fabric.

i Hope this will help you.

And to answer the question about the logo .....
it is simple stamp.

Thanks again
