Recommend me a grippy RPB rubber please

Hi

Does anyone have any recommendations on a grippy non tacky rubber for RPB that is cheap and light? Maybe soft too. Why I want a grippy and not tacky is because I grip like Wang Hao. When getting a little sweaty tacky rubbers becomes very slippy, so I would like a rubber with a grippy topsheet like Tenergies. The surface on Tenergy feels a little rough.

I recently swapped to Tibhar Aurus Soft on bh.
(I've tried Bluefire Jp-03, Adidas P7 as well as jp-01 Turbo... last not being a good idea.)
Tibhar Aurus soft is imo, a great bh RPB rubber, and which is what I'l be recomending. I also liked Bluefire Jp-03 but it's slightly heavier and even softer than what I prefered (which led me to experiment a bit). Aurus might not have the all high most beast spin, but it's plenty, and! it's a very light rubber. and for a good price. Good luck on your pick! :)

I think everyone just ignored you when you mentioned "cheap" LOLz.

Try 729 Aurora for an upgraded Focus 3 Snipe (bit more grip, slightly faster) or 729 Battle II (the non-tacky one, higher throw, more modern sponge and topsheet response).

Old thread, but wondering what you ended up choosing?

I’ve been using Yasaka Rakza 7 in 1.8 and it’s great for control , flicks and looping but it does get slick in humid or sweaty situations so my grip feels not so comfortable.

I’m trying Rakza 7 in 2.0 soon and after that I have a Nittaku FastArc G1 I will try as well.

I’ll report as soon as that happens.

Happy attacking on the RPB side fellow penholders!

I use LKT Pro XP for my RPB. It works great. I didn't like the thickness of the rubber and wanted something thinner so I glued the LKT Pro XP on to a 1.8mm soft sponge. It loops well. Better yet I can attack serves well.
The top sheet and sponge were cheap. I had no trouble gluing the top sheet to the sponge.

Thanks for the suggestions. I had an old sheet of Focus 3 Snipe to test and it works good. :)
I ditched it before when I tested because it had low throw but now it works fine as I have a much more active stroke. We'll see how it works out in the long term.

I imagine you are in China right now? You can easily get AK47 blue, 729 Aurora, Palio CJ8000 for very low prices.
