OLYMPIC Regional Qualification Tournaments ARE Underway!!!!!

I have actually been quite surprised that nobody has posted information on these Olympic Qualification Tournaments that started at the beginning of April.

A friend from NYC posted information on these events on April 1 right before they kicked off:

right as we speak, the latin american qualifications are taking place down in chile--it just started earlier [this already happened but the link has some of the results]:

next weekend, starting on the 8th, we'll have the north american qualifications up in Toronto. .....wu yue, has already qualified and does not have to play. they'll have 4 canadians and 4 players from the US of A competing for 6 spots.go here for all the info:

i'm not a 100% sure, but i think all the qualifiers will be streamed live on the ITTF youtube channel, here:

I'll interpret that as on topic. If he is on form in the French league, he will probably do well in the Olympic Qualification event.

He has to be the odds on favorite to place first in the North American Men's Event.
