Hey guys !

I've been a while in this forum but since we can't all play together, we can't know each other's grip very well
So, I make a thread and an open poll about what grip are you guys using.

I take the grip types from TT @ About.com and I also include some unorthodox grip.

I switch between 2 handshake grips. For power shots FH, I use the shallow grip and BH I use the deep grip. A player in my club also has a seemiler grip which excellent for looping heavy chops, but he has a problem switching whenever the goes to his BH. Predominantly he is a FH player. The V grip is outrageous, and I never knew there is such a grip..and I can't even fathom what is a pistol grip.

My second match in my 1st sanctioned tourney was vs a dude who used a pistol grip or "SAW" handle grip blade. He was also a very good player, pushing close USATT 2000 in rating. He could loop all day.

SH Shallow grip all the way with some grip mods for different shots, depending on what I am trying to do. Biggest change is on BH, where the thumb goes on the FH rubber like Kreanga to help me stay loose and get power.
