Why don't the Chinese national team give chances to other players to play?

They can't....
They need to streamline and focus on a few and groom them.
And then from this small number, only 2 makes the Olympic
If China has say 3 or 5 players, then I'm sure the teams will be bigger, and more focus on your 2nd string, 3rd strings etc
This is why players like Li Ping moves to Qatar and can play in Olympics
Or why quite a few go to Singapore. Back then Chen Qing went to Taiwan
Quite a few went to USA
Its a pity that China is so big with so many provinces and producing so many players that only a handfill makes the cut
Life isn't fair if you a are good table tennis player in china. You need to be the best of the best
hence this is why there is so many drop outs. The success of a kid to olympian is just more and more difficultLast edited by Tony's Table Tennis; 05-26-2016 at 09:16 AM.
