Chinese rubbers needs a light, responsive (maby not soft but flexible) blade to shine imo.. Found the h3 neo horrible on a 9ply carbon blade, but wonderful on a low price 5ply all wood blade.. You just have to try it out for your self to see what you fancy. :)
Its a totally different stroke needed to play them, you need more effort, so the european rubbers feel easier to play.

Is Chinese Tacky rubbers like yasaka rising dragon easier to ply with, have more control. Is European rubbers easier and more control? Like xiom vega pro or Europe
this would be for a person that didn't play for many years.

Based on this, I am guessing you have not ordered yet. If that is the case, the Xiom Offensive S is a pretty good blade and would likely be fine for you.

The one downside to the Offensive S is that it is a little thick and stiff for a 5 ply. But it still should be fine.

Info on Chinese rubbers: the harder the rubber, the more precision you need to have in your contact to get the full use out of the rubber.

But still, even though most Chinese rubbers are on the hard side, they still have good control and you may be okay with them.

If a kid starts out learning with hard Chinese Tacky rubber, he/she will be fine. It is harder for an adult who is trying to learn or trying to get back skillz he/she had 20 years ago, to develop good feel and touch with that kind of rubber.

But Chinese rubbers are much less expensive and there are times when they are worth using.
