I've got a question, in the video MA Long vs LIU Jikang around a score of 6:6 in the first set you can clearly see the referee holding a stopwatch. Does anybody know what they are timing? Is that for research and/or statistics, ie. length of rallyes?

I think that you guys aren't giving Liu Jikang enough credit. He played really well! Ma may still be tired from Rio, but he made a lot of strategic mistakes that Liu capitalized on. Liu channeled his inner Fan Zhendong and exposed Ma's over-reliance on his FH from the BH corner by playing blocks and counters and BH flicks off the serve to Ma's FH corner (which was wide open). Ma played too predictable in this one.

Just make sure you channel the 2016 Korea Open one and not the 2016 World Cup one
