What do you do with your spare racket?

I have two rackets. One as my main, and one as my spare. I often use my main, but i haven't used my spare bat in a while as well. I'm worried if i don't use my spare racket, the rubbers with slowly degrade. What do you guys usually do with your spare bat? Do you switch off once in a while or only keep the spare if you break your main racket?

I let it sit in my case with the rubbers slowly degrading.

. I do have a few questions for you to maybe consider.

How often do you actually break your paddle. And is it at the beginning of the day when you break it, or near the end where you won't be playing with it anymore anyway. Do you NEED a spare?

I use it to play with the robot and for service practice so I don't destroy the rubbers on my main one too soon.

My spare racket is the racket i had before my main racket.
