Belgium will play soon against China in Quarter Final. They won in a straight 3-2 against Hong Kong in the second group stage !

I will have all their records when they come back, I will surely make some great highlights !

Girls' teams of Japan and China currently at 1-1.. This could be the first time ever that neither of China's junior teams win the title.
Japan won the girls' teams title in 2010 and the boys' team title in 2005. The rest has been Chinese domination.

Japan leads 2-1... Hirano lost 2-3 to Shi, she was the more nervous one. Ito won 3-2 but was clearly above. she managed to stay calm. Hayata won the crucial 3rd match. she was on fire and yelling like an Amazon...

now Ito is back on the court and she needs to close this match

nope Korea ousted China in semis. Japan didn't play China in the Boys event. They beat Korea 3-0 in the final

However in the Girl's event, Japan won 3-1 against China in the Final. Hirano lost her match. Ito won 2, and Hayata won 1.

Now, let's see if Japanese players can win Gold in the Singles events...

I thought Hayata screamed like she was taking Kendo lessons.

Hirano had a rough time. Perhaps she was tired and had too much pressure?

I do think China is discreetly taking note of the Japanese team. It seems like Japan frequently sends a platoon of their players in tournaments to give them international experience. China seems to be doing a little more of that, now, with their younger players.
