Need help: real or fake Timo Boll ALC

Hey all,

I purchased a Timo Boll ALC on ebay... I need help regarding its authenticity.

Blade hasn't arrived but the seller did send through some images.

Thanks for the reply thus far.

The thing that slightly worries me is the stamping of the J.T.T.A. on the underside of the handle. It looks a tad inconsistent. Thoughts?

Yep

this one's real to my furthest concern. the serial number on the blade and the original box matches. The ink seemed a little smudged although it does not happen often. I got my joo se hyuk blade from tees sport(The most trustworthy website) and it had some ink smudging as well which looks acceptable.

but then if you are worried about fakes, what are you doing on ebay

do the sn check with butterfly if you want to triple check

This blade looks real. The serial number on the box matches the one the blade and the print is spot on.
As Tony said you could ask BTY to check the number to be sure.

IMO You shouldn't be worried.

If you payed 30 bucks it's fake.
If you payed more than 130 it's not.
The chances of finding a professional scammer trying to fool people on ebay are really low.
