Spoiler alert.

Man searches through hostile lands for months, living rough, barely surviving on what the arctic tundra can provide. Probably fights bears and barely escapes. Drinks his own wee via the time-honoured yellow snow survival technique. He finally reaches his hallowed and glorious goal - the mystical tree of mystery and mysteriousness. And then he chops it down and makes table tennis blades out of it.

He said the Arctic wood is a hard wood.

As you can see below, Arctic wood is near other 5 ply hardwood blades - Ebenholz, Rosewood, etc.
