Coming from Germany, I always looked up to Timo Boll - as many other people from Germany too, for obvious reasons.

As a forehand-oriented player, I really enjoy seeing (and secretly trying to learn from) Dima's, ZJK's and FZD's backhands and I'm just amazed by how much power and spin they can create while still being top-notch-level variable, it's just mental.

I also admire Vladi's class and sportsmanship off the table as well as his unique playstyle.

There are just so many great players out there, impossible to choose one.

If I had to chose one, Jorgen Persson.

But I don't have to choose just one! So much to learn from so many players. I have been watching Samsonov a lot lately.

When I was a kid, though, and actually had heroes, mine was Kjell Johansson.

Should also include Zhang Yining. She had no weakness. None.

I put her right up there with anyone listed so far.

Was reading through other people's comments, and so many good choices!
