Totally agree. I really like T2's approach and looking forward to watching it.

interesting anyway, and he is really good. hopefully he will cause some BIG upsets!
all the top chinese had very heavy programs in the past like tomokazu. You need both training and lots of matches to improve. From 2008 and after ML was participating in almost every big pro tour, asian tours, super league included. It was not as young as tomokazu yes but Im guessing his coaches want him to build character in match situations as early as possible. Besides his technique is already there, I dont think he will change much especially in his BH

Look what hirano and ito have achieved, the last 3 years they were participating constantly in pro tours
I suck real bad so I train to suck less

I am really anxious to see whether they will have Chinese player on board.... maybe a old school legend? My guess is something like Fang Bo may join.

Well- not quite old school, but also not Fang Bo. Try Women's WR #1 DING NING:

    http://t2apac.com/world-number-1-din...ampaign=buffer

Also some new(?) insight into the format as well from the article:
""""Each match in the inaugural T2APAC Table Tennis League is limited to 24 minutes, where players try to win as many games as possible within the duration. All players will play in separate but concurrent singles and mixed-team championships in a league format. All players will go through a draft selection process which will be selected by Team Captains.""""

T2 has also been pretty busy on their website as well. Some other updates include listed Team Captains: Michael Maze, Jorgen Persson, Jiang Jialiang and Jorg Rosskopf. I wonder if these guys will be playing!

    Latest Update!!

According to german tt-website mytischtennis.de the chinese Players have finally confirmed in participating. It will no one else but:

    Shang Kun CHN
    Wang Chuqin CHN
    Xue Fei CHN
    Liu Dingshuo CHN

on the male side. And on the female side it´s:

    Ding Ning CHN
    Wang Manyu CHN
    Shi Xunyao CHN
    Wu Yang CHN
    Sun Yingsha CHN
    Lui Fei CHN

So it looks as if they changed up the regulations a bit, since at first they were only planning with 12 males and 12 females!

Yesss! We will know the true strength of the young chinese players.
I guess Shang Kun will be chosen early in the draft, but whom would you choose: Shibaev or Chuqin? Samsonov or Dingshuo? Chen Chien An or Xu Fei? These guys are very good, but they don't have too much international experience, hard to estimate their powers.
I have big hopes for Dingshuo and Harimoto in this league.

There must be some real insiders in the CNT for them to fill so many spots with Chinese second stringers! I'm liking the content on their facebook feed too. Wish ITTF would follow suit.

Actually I think we shouldn't take it seriously, it looks like a reality show so far. I don't know about gameplay.

1.5 million dollar...yeah, we shouldn't take it seriously
All team want to win that prize, they will work hard.
I hoped we can see the procedure in details, but it's still promising.

I hope to see DOUBLES and if so swear I will stay up LATE to see Jun Mizutani/Joo Saehyuk play Vladimir Samsonov/Tomokazu Harimoto. Well, a man can dream, can't he?
