It will come in 5 or so different hardnesses and it should be more suitable for poly ball.

You don't think it's a hoax, or a fake? I find no other reference to "Rasanter" anywhere. Seems to be a mini-review, calling it well-balanced, high quality and easily adapted to (if I'm not mistaken).

No, it´s genuine. Six versions, three Rotation and three Velocity.

From pictures of the packaging people speculate that the topsheet will be thinner than on Rasant versions.

no, its already listed in the official ITTF rubbers list and also here on the forum in the top right corner you can see ad from andro.

All current Rasant rubbers will be discontinued and replaced by Rasanter.
As you said, sponges will be 2.3mm thick in max rubber.

Yes, listed on http://old.ittf.com/_front_page/ittf1.asp?category=rubber but not on http://www.andro.de/home-en/rubbers/ and I'm guessing the R42 replaces Rasant Grip. Wait and see, I guess.

at the end, joji yamazaki (the guy in black) the president of andro japan, asking how does the rubber play? the answer is it feels nice and you can feel the ball 'deep', and asking the viewers to try it

I think it's pretty cool that there's no guesswork involved anymore when trying to find out the hardness' - it's in the rubbers names!
