The grass is well-worn on this topic. Nevertheless, I have a few maybe less mainstream items to mention.
As tenergies go, 05 is still king of the hill. Yet there's hidden greatness in especially T80. The tenergies aside, there are the obvious contestants - Rasanter, Bluestorm, the Evolutions, obviously. Widely known and loved, and all quality.
Maybe less known and loved, but I think very, very good rubbers: DHS Gold Arc 8 and the Stiga Genesises (Geneses?). If the criterium is "being equal to Tenergy 05" then Tenergy 05 wins hands-down, but if the criterium is "brings special qualities to the table" then these rubbers are strong contenders. Yet the one that really deserves a mention, for me, is Gewo NanoFlex FT48. Hot, hot, hot, hot stuff.
