Applying pressure during drying period of glue

Is it really necessary to apply pressure when the glue is drying after u glue a new rubbers to the blade. I'm talking about the long period not using the roller when you gluing the rubber

Not really. Its an old habbit from speed glue era and even then it was only necessary when the rubber was too curvy. If you glued properly and used the roller the rubber will be fine

I am using a rubber press for several hours.

I try not to apply excessive pressure. I figure the more i stretch out the rubber, the more that could possibly shrink later on. IDK.

I just press down enough for the rubber to stick on.

can it effect in a bad way ?? like for tensor rubbers and other technologies rubbers have these days

I JUST attach rubber with roller and play ... no waiting at all ...

Νο.Just dont use too much booster or speed glue if you do use them. on water glue pressing doesnt achieve anything

Here lots of people uses some kind of press and they all tell that it increases the control by 15-50%. I also press them but can't really tell the difference. When I press it's usually good, but maybe it would be the same anyway. There is a theory that it helps the booster effect. (Most of the modern rubbers have a little or more booster even when they are brand new. Some even smells from boosters.)
