I am sure they are Butterfly Energyforce but idk what generation, 10 maybe? Didn't find them in store just as a picture

Ma Long is attack damage carry in that doubles pair

Surprisingly enough, so far Ma Long has been the deciding factor here.

Timo Boll, as expected, is slightly slower than the rest and struggles with serve and short play, but he has been very consistent so far, usually able to keep up with the pace, and pretty much flawless tactically.

XX and FZD have a clear game plan which they are executing on their normal level so far.

Ma Long was a beast for a set and a half but then made a few unforced errors and became passive. Now he lost the initiative and is mostly reacting. Needs to change or they will most likely lose.

Xu Xin made a few crazy shots only he is capable of. Timo Boll smashes to his forehand, Xu Xin counterattacks for a winner, Timo shakes his head. Timo smashes to his backhand, Xu Xin pulls out backhand counterattack (!) from 6 meters away from the table WTF.

Ma Long didn't play well after the second set.

Mentally, I don't think Ma Long and Boll gel. Boll is someone who forgets what happened earlier and raises his game from set to set. Ma Long has a tendency to lose some of his fire if things don't go so well.

I think the level gap is pronounced in the deciding points.

Before the 9x9 they were playing pretty much the same level.

Of course xu/fan more aggressively with winner and unforced errors and Ma/Timo with consistency but fewer winners.

Kallberg needs to take more risks, in those backhand rallies at some point he needs to step around and put everything into the forehand shot
