I have been curious how the top TT players lives compare to those of other sports. TT players do an awful lot of travel around the world - ITTF national tournaments, leagues in various countries, etc. Seems like a new town every week. Do the players have personal assistants who ensure their travel and accommodations are arranged? Do their national association arrange things for them? Do they get paid per diem or something like that for travel? How do sponsors figure into all this? Do they have agents who get them sponsors and gigs? Do the have an entourage to assist them? I am sure it varies from player to player, but they seem to lead very complicated lives.
