Chinese National Games 2017

Let's take a look at the results of the 13th National Games. For provincial teams, Beijing and PLA still have some advantage while Sichuan is very impressive.

After Ding Ning won WS this year, all female Grand Slam winners have National Games gold. All female Olympic singles champions won gold at National Games the year after they won OG.
Ma Long successfully defended MS title and broke the curse that none male Olympic singles champions won gold or even a medal at National Games the year after they won OG.
Wang Hao still keeps the record of winning 3 gold at one Games (2009). If you follow the Games this year, the tight schedule is really torturing for the players. Can any iron man/woman win 4 gold in the future?
