Fang Bo again escapes from the jaws of defeat and sends it to a 7th game - AMAZING.

Honestly, Fang Bo has been down in every single game even if only by a point or two and come back to win. Ng seems to be choking IMO, even as he goes up 4-0 in the 5th and is now at 4-2. Ng has a game that I hope we see more of. But he is choking as it is now 4-3...

So interesting to see the theory of China having a limitless pool of world class players ready to move into the spots of the four horsemen at a moments notice evaporate. Such great playing by all the participants, and so close so much.

Luck had nothing to do with it. Fang Bo put in a higher gear like he's done previously in this tournament and Kenta had no answer for it. Kenta is not very strong tactically, more a showman than a winner.

pity for matsudaira he was very close, fang bo eventualy if again very lucky winining 4:3

I would correct it: Matsudaira isn't bad tactically, he is weak mentally. And he isn't good against power.
He destroyed Ma Lin tactically and played well against XX's high arc loops. He is improving, but still needs more piercing power.

Yes he's weak mentally and a well thought out game plan (strategy) gives you confidence. He just didn't have either.

In fact his tactics is quite good, but sometimes players who have too many tactics they do not know what to do, they think too much about tactics and changes while the game is on instead of playing their best. 5th set was crutial Matsudaira just let it go too easily and looked like somebody who has no idea what to do. I would not say that FB set up higher level, it was just matsudaira who did too many simple mistakes.
He destroyed ma lin, when ma lin was bit old and had a good start with XX but could not finish it like with fang bo

Yeah, but he beat Ma Lin with good tactics, not with better skills/power. Otherwise you said the same thing as me: mental weakness --> he sometimes just lose his focus, can't finish a match (he lost many times from lead), makes lots of unforced errors...

Fang Bo is a world class player and I consider him to be "Ma Long light", so many similarities except ML has a stronger mental game.

What does mean 'world class' for you? Top 10? 15? 50? Yes, Fang Bo is a world class player, but he is way different from Ma Long, no need to compare him to anyone.
