Schedule for Day 2 (Sat 21 October GMT+2):

Round of 16:

12:00
T1) Ma Long (#1) vs Omar Assar (#11)
T2) Lee Sangsu (#9) vs Koki Niwa (#5)

12:50
T1) Lin Gaoyuan (#6) vs Marcos Freitas (#10)
T2) Gustavo Tsuboi (#18) vs Timo Boll (#3)

13:40
T1) Jun Mizutani (#4) vs Quadri Aruna (#14)

14:30
T1) Chuang Chih-Yuan (#8) vs Alexander Shibaev (#16)
T2) Kou Lei (#13) vs Dimitrij Ovtcharov (#2)

The top half of the draw looks really tough: the highest #3-4 seed, the two highest #5-8 seeds and the three highest #9-16 seeds are all there! Only the withdrawal of Chen Chien-An (#12) spoiled the ”perfectly skewed” draw ;-)

For me Freitas has quite a chance against Lin.
He has a great FH and also a great BH, so they are as good as even to me.
Okay, Lin beat FZD, but they know each other so well.
I really feel like Freitas can do an upset here!

Lin has beaten both Boll and Freitas recently, I believe.
