Yes both skyline are for penholder's play.

Skyline 3 is for continuous top spin. It has very good spin and control. But the power in single stroke is compromised. If you like to finish the point in 1 or 2 strong shot, then Skyline 3 is not for you. Skyline 3 is for Xuxin or WangHao who like to do continuous topspins.

Skyline 2 is half tacky. It has a slightly harder topsheet and a slightly softer sponge. The result is it is very good at low power (like short game) and maximum power. It is hard to control at mid-power. It is specially suitable for Ma Lin, who did a lot of control touch in short games, seeking opportunities for a big slam to kill the point.

Skyline 3 provides more consistency compare to skyline 2. Somehow I remember Malong has been using skyline 3 for a bit at early age. Have seen photos somewhere.

after last year played with DianChi D rubber tried DHS Hurricane 3 NEO National orange sponge, payed 60$ on prott.
After 5 sessions rubber has bubbles, pointing out like Mt. Everest :D
Reminded me quickly why I stopped playing with hurricane rubbers.

I switched to 729 Battle 2, three weeks rubber still has no defects, it is slower then hurricane, but goes well with fast blade

I didn't check becase I ordered more then 10 dhs blades from prott, first blades I checked, now I don't because a lot of people I know and me are ordering from this site and blades are always good

w968-6 is good blade, I have provincial version with letters number 9, very fast and good rotation.
In comparison with Long V it is like 20% faster but less control, Long V I have is also provintial number 8 so it is same quality

I think this new blade w968-8 will be brutal, I have played with N301-8 and -8 carbon they put makes blade very stiff, control so good it is sick
