Congratz to Bernadette Szocs!

She has been one of the best things about this league this year and is the best and most deserving Champion for the first year (not her fault that Ding Ning or other CNT players who played earlier didn't defend the rotated CNT spot) and I think her win and her celebration encapsulated the thrill of the league.

A few years ago many people on youtube disliked her because of her loud choes and "flawed" technique and there is also the video with lin gaoyuan (cho contest or something like that) where there is lots of mockery happening and just look at them now...they are beating world class players and enjoying themselves. I couldnt believe my eyes that she did it but she did and it brought a smile to my face cause I also thought it was almost impossible for european women to beat asian ones

Why am I saying all that ??? well its kind of ironic and funny when u see results rubbed in the faces of people with meaningless/pointless tastes and opinions.

When I was watching the match, Bernadette had a chance twice, in both matches against Lui Fei and Feng Tianwei to win much earlier, but she lost those games and ended up in the 5-point game, because she was leading in the previous game and could've won due to the time running out. And so I really thought after missing that opportunity she's gonna get nervous now and lose the match now and then probably start crying, because she's quite emotional and cried when she lost to Feng Tianwei in the team matches. But somehow she won anyway and I'm glad she won because I don't think she would've taken a defeat very easily and probably would've cried again. It's kinda nice seeing someone being so happy.

I enjoy watching these T2APAC matches. But it's funny how many dirty moves this sort of timing-based system creates. Like one player even though was leading 10-6, avoided winning the next point just so the opponent wouldn't get another kill-zone 5 point game. Many things like that.
