NOW LIVE: Men's FINAL: Fan Zhendong vs Xu Xin! Live streaming here: https://tv.ittf.com/livestream/swedish-open-table-1/1026950

What a great few weeks of table tennis! The World Cup saw incredible scenes with Timo Boll defeating Ma Long. The World Tour circuit now moves onto the Swedish Open, what surprises will we have this time around?. This prestigious event will take place in Stockholm, beginning on the 13th November and concluding on the 19th November.

They heard M.Maze is back... (flash back to Hao Shuai loss)

Maze was indeed going to play the tournament - according to the Danish federation website not because he was making an international come back, but because he wanted to help the Danish team's ranking.

He has now withdrawn from the event :(. Maybe because he found out about the new World ranking system for 2018...?

That is what I heard, but major bommer that he withdraw from the event. Perhaps he saw that Anton Kallberg was participating as well and realized that he couldn't win the tournament. ;)
