He's 16 and has been winning natinonal titles for respective age groups.
He attends Elite Academy in Tokyo and was touted as the next big thing until that little Harimoto came along... :) Already capable of beating anyone in Japan(including Oshima who was beaten by Uda in last year's Nat champs).

Oshima is another lightning on the court. So many young Korean and Japanese players have unbelievably fast footwork (hello Lee Sangsu), it is just amazing. I wonder if there are any European players that can move as fast. It can be a visual illusion, but Euro players look way more sluggish.

That is true, but japanese are much faster then korean. This is the case of playing style, they play really close to the table, check here from 0:50

it does not mean this style is better or worse it is just different. European players concentrate more on placement and spin.
