Arche is very similar construction to KJH, core burned even more, overall, the range is 4-5 grams lighter than the KJH range. Construction is supposed to be stronger. My week long hit with one shows it can do the job of KJH, even at a weak 82 grams.

What are the outer plies of the arche and kjh respectively? I'm not sure what the darker ply is

Check out post #19 in this thread...

Don't know for sure what the outer ply on the fh side of the Arche is; seems to be the same as the top ply of the Rubicon. Could be mango tree according to this post: http://mytabletennis.net/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=77992&title=nexy-rubicon-reviews

There is a good chance that Der_Echte will chime in again. Maybe he knows more.

Confirmation that the FH side top wood is the same as rubicon: http://mytabletennis.net/forum/foru...ID=1010588&title=nexy-designers-diary#1010588

At least on the Arche I have, the FH top wood looks a lot more like heat treated Lati (AndySmith's suggestion for the rubicon top wood on the thread you link) than like mango tree. But I don't know enough about these woods to tell for sure..

Yeah, I agree that mango tree is a long shot. I very much like Andy's suggestions/conclusions about the mysterious top ply being temperature treated Lati (or white wenge). In general, Mr. Moon seems to have a knack for 7-ply blades with heat treated/burned plies. The upcoming Akkad (https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/forum/showthread.php?16924-Tibhar-AKKAD-New-blade-Designed-by-Nexy) seems to follow a very similar composition...
If I had more money, I would own at least two dozen Nexy blades already...:D

Unless Oscar said it on his forum posts, he never or are rarely discloses some of the blade composition of the Nexy blades.

Recently, I slapped on a new sheet of Karis H on FH with the KJH... good stuff. I do not feel any loss of touch.
