I had a lot of fun reading through this, as I have beeb playing TT for 3 years I faced many of those players. First i was like you, denying their skills. However, its much more fun to aknowledge that kind of game and take it as a challenge. I stand 24:0 in a league full of those players now. (We did not quiet manage to rank up last season...) The downside to this is that i am getting worse playing against better players who can spin the ball.
      Spin Spin Spin...

What happens when two players using negative tactics meet- both determined not to lose the point. These players are above the local league level but are using the same "get the ball back on the table and don't make a mistake" method which I find hard to overcome.

Warning- do not watch this before driving or operating heavy machinery.

The expedition rule would kick in, after a mindboggingly tedious while. See: Li Jie.

Volunteer to teach English to Korean kids, get a little less than 2000 Euros and a free small apartment and play TT when you get the chance... good training for future.... like Daniel is saying.
