Hey everyone, especially to TTD members living in London!
I managed to be accepted into "The Language Gallery" English course located in the center of London(!), as Ive been wishing for a long to improve my English.
So apparently Ill be living there for a month starting April 5th this year.

So MY QUESTION: are there any TT players from around whom I can talk to? Id love it if I could bring my bat with me and have a couple of practices during my stay at this wonderful city! I think it could be a great experience watching how things are running in the Kingdom and what insights and enlightenments could coachs and players advise me.

Thanks in advance!

Hello!

I'm not in London, but used to live there, so know a few of the clubs.

For starters you could try:

Morpeth Table Tennis Club: http://www.morpethttc.co.uk/index.html

Fusion Table Tennis Club: http://www.fusionttc.co.uk/

Highbury Table Tennis Club: http://www.highburyttclub.co.uk/

Here's a list of clubs who play in the Central London League: https://www.tabletennis365.com/CentralLondon/Clubs

If you want something a bit more informal, you should try Bounce (ping pong bar - two locations): http://www.bouncepingpong.com/

Enjoy your stay in London. If you want to have a day trip, I recommend Cambridge (where I live!). It's about an hour from London and nice to wander around for a day.

Great! I'm not sure what level I'm looking for. I play around 10 years so although I'm not an Israeli top league player, I'm sure I can practice and compete against some formidable players from around.

Thanks for the kind advices, I let you know if there's any plans for daytrips :)

Hey there! I'm not sure if I am good to practise with but you can always come down to my club. https://www.ellenboroughttc.com/

On the weekend evening sessions, Saturday 7.30-10.30pm, Sunday 6.30-9.30pm there are a few good players that come and they usually do a bit of top table fun too if you want to join. Its £6 for non members to play per session
