At the WTTC in Halmstad I grabbed a new catalog 2018/2019 from Stiga.

New blades are Stiga Defensive Feel 5 plyand Defensive Pro 5+2 ply developed in cooperation with Masato Shiono.

Also the are new pimple rubbers available soon. One short and four long pimple rubbers.

Symmetri (short)
Vertical 20 and 55 (long)
Horisontal 20 and 55 (long)

The numbers are referring to the sponge hardness and the Vertical and Horisontal are referring to the pimple alignment.
Stiga states that Horisontal gives more variety and effective spin whereas the Vertical alignment provides better control and stability in your game.
The long pimple rubbers are also developed in corporation with Masato Shiono.

Genisis II wil also be released in S and M version.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing.

I still wonder how come there is no Genesis version in hard. The first version also didn't come in hard, but maybe the number of eventual customers is just too little.

Anyhow... That Genesis II is teasing my inner EJ.

State of bliss. Same here.

Yeah, it reminds me that... back in those days, EJ ment nothing, just :

I'll tell you this,No eternal reward will forgive us now for wasting the dawn. Back in those days everything was simpler and more confused One summer night, going to the pier I ran into two young girls The blond was called Freedom The dark one, Enterprise We talked and they told me this story Now listen to this... I'll tell you about Texas radio and the big beat Soft driven, slow and mad like some new language.Reaching your head with the cold, sudden fury of a divine messenger Let me tell you about heartache and the loss of god Wandering, wandering in hopeless nightOut here in the perimeter there are no stars Out here we is stoned... Immaculate.

I just got my hands on a Yinhe (Galaxy) V-14 Pro. It's the company's anniversary edition of their popular V-14 blade.

It's been upgrade with better wood and is faster than the original.
Five ply wood plus 2 outer layers of arylate carbon.
I haven't tried it yet, but I'm curious about what others think of this blade.
I don't see many reviews on this blade yet.

Wrong topic I'm afraid, this blade isn't really new equipment 2018 (Yinhe 30th aniv. was in 2016). But there are two reviews on Revspin and also some reviews of V-14 (yellow handle non-pro) on this forum. If not enough please set-up new thread...

20 | 71 What for?

Hi, People

The latest Nitttaku Catalogue 2018 provides us with a lot of useful information.
Each of the 42 rubber items enlisted in the catalogue is labeled with the same colored numbers 20 | 71.

{20} {71}
What's the true utility of the numbers?
I can't get any good idea, so far.
Could you clarify on the numbers ?

Thanks.
