I assume that's explained by faster than light loop exchanges and the resulting time dilation due to general relativity?

Must be! And that glorious time reversal will also see Liu Guoliang reemerge from the penal colony, and Zhang Jike actually playing to his stature.

I think CNT men's team is no. 2 seed this time. Germany is no. 1.

Haha! When I clicked post, the connection went faster than the speed of light and forced the post to go back in time :D

Oh wait that wouldn't work... I think you the observer is seeing the post at a different time due to the realm of the internet :)

Edited btw haha

Where is south Korea on women competition?
Where is Portugal on men ?

Not qualified. I checked the list of qualified teams, and it contains:

  • Asian, European, Pan-American, African and Oceanian champions (contains men's WR#1,2 and women's #1,6)
  • For some or other reason the runner-up of the Pan-Am championships too (team USA, WR #45 men/#21 women)
  • The WR teams #3 to #7 (men) and #2 to #5 + #9 (women)
  • The home team (team England, WR #14 men/#30 women)
That really doesn't answer your question. I have no clue as to why of the protected status of the Pan-Am runner-up; I don't know why the women's #9 was chosen over #7 and #8.
