Is this a counterfeit Butterfly blade?

Shortly after I started playing 2 years ago I borrowed a number of bats from a player who is a bit of a equipment geek. He purchases blades and rubbers from various sources and sells the bats to new players. I picked a bat mainly because it had a butterfly primorac blade which I thought was a quality mid range blade and I later fitted new rosena rubbers. He recently admitted that the blade may not be genuine as he bought it for a cheap price.
The blade appears to be genuine but I am not an expert player so cannot tell if the blade plays well. What is the playing difference between a Primorac and an imitation one?
