On February 27 , Laureus World sport award Held in Monaco , Table tennis Grand slam winner and record holder was invited to attend the ceremony . Zhang jike this this came to Monaco to participate in sport charity and dress up to attend the evening award ceremony with a cool suit . He was the only active chinese athlete in 2018 ceremony .

Zhang jike posted a selfie with Roger Federer and wrote : Thanks for the laureus sport award for the invitation , congratulation Roger federer for the best male athlete of the year . deserved . Zhang jike's father also praise his son in a comment in jike's post .

Thanks gladxu for your great words . yes its an honor to have a tt member there . Alos Deng Yaping was there . I've seen deng yaping and Benedict cumberbatch play table tennis in laureus ceremony when it was held in shanghai . it is so funny
