It seems that both Gauzy and Calderano still play with the Gatien Absolum, albeit with the handle caps of their respective signature blades. In fact I also noticed during the Qatar Open that Calderano's blade has a very distinctive dark middle ply. Neither the Calderano nor the Gauzy signature blades have such a dark middle ply, the Absolum however does (it's actually red or dark red).
