      ITTF challenge series questions

I'm wondering why no ITTF top 10 player ever plays on ITTF challenge series
For ex. upcoming polish open 2018, the highest seeder is lee sangsu, ITTF#11
Would it be easier for top 10 player to get higher ITTF ranking if
they're playing in this ITTF challenge series since less top player play?

To answer the question, would be useful to check points for i.e. quarter final for WT and Challenge series Final.
Besides, players don't have that much time ...

I'll probably be there, Polish Open in Spała ; )

The only reason for pros to play in any world tour is for points -> for ranking

challenge series is too little point/waste of time/prize money
most of your players will not even break even if they win a challenge series

Usually there are some top players playing challenge series tournaments, but for whatever reason ITTF thought it would be cool to have Qatar Open (Platinum Series), next week Polish Open and the week after the German Open (Platinum Series)

So this is why Korean and Japanese players are there ... week by week, Qatar - Polish - German ...
