Does anyone understand how is the order of matches decided ?
strange for example to see Mizutani vs Yoshida in both matches 4 and 5

I'm not 100% sure about this, but here's my best guess

Match 1: Doubles (best of 3 games)
Match 2: Singles 1 (best of 5 games)
Match 3: Singles 2 (best of 5 games)
Match 4: Singles 3 (best of 5 games)
Match 5: Singles (one game tie-breaker, only played if the team match is tied at 2:2)

- All deciding games in Match 1-4 starts at 6:6
- One player per team can play both one doubles and one singles match in regulation (the first four matches)
- But that players can't play two matches in a row (so not the first singles match).
- Any player can play in the tie-breaker (match 5).

I hope this helps? :)

On their site each team gives a rank to their own players
S AAA AA A
Does the rank impact the pairings ?

EDIT: YES

here are all the rules of the league. Rules about rankings are at the bottom of the page

https://tleague.jp/about-t/

- if I am correct, each team should have at least one ace (S !!), a top WR10 player [or olympic/WC medalist or team champion], and both S will play against each other
- there should be at least one AAA or above player so at least S + S or S+AAA
- there should be at least one Japanese player

Apart from the S against S, the pairing can be decided at each team discretion during the regular season, but during the season finale, the order of players will be according to their ranking status ( - or WR ???? not clear to me)
