The big thing for me is

DHS G555-888 are going to be illegal after June 1.

So many of my friends are playing with those.

Because they are no longer listed on LARC and therefore not permitted for official matches.

You probably still can use them outside competition (league, tournaments etc.). I would not object.

It's a risk to use them if they aren't on the list. Depends how authoritarian the situation you find yourself in happens to be!

Does anyone know what happened to the rubbers from the previous LARC?
Has anyone seen dignics 05, dignics 64 or Tenergy09c?
Pretty clever marketing i must say. Announce some stuff to catch people's attention and then come out with something completely different just to announce some more unheard and unseen stuff.

Why would they put it on the LARC if somebody is not using it in a competition?

Most UK umpires have slight EJitis so are familiar with the main stream rubbers. At first glance DHS G555 would not raise any suspicions. But since you have highlighted the matter, they will be on their guard for sure
