I really don't think so. Xu also came close to losing his second game and it was anybody's game at one point. I would give the Swede's credit for taking a game off Zhendong. To the best of my knowledge and experience competitive players do not offer up games. They come in to give their strongest performance and dominate, and to do it emphatically if they can. I used to be a sports correspondent for many year as well and I never came across a top level team or athlete ever being "magnanimous" in this way.
